  I'm not often moved to write online reviews, but the service we received from Joe at Chicagoland Pet Cremation was absolutely exceptional. One of our cats died unexpectedly when we were away for the weekend. We returned on Sunday afternoon to find her remains and were extremely shaken up. Joe was professional and compassionate throughout our first call, explaining his fee structure clearly and offering advice on how to preserve our cat's remains if we chose to wait until Monday for pickup. He never tried to up-sell or pressure us in any way. When we eventually decided to pay extra for a Sunday pickup, he was there within 90 minutes. He honored our wish to keep our cat wrapped in her favorite towel and returned her ashes the next day. Throughout, he was courteous and caring, always asking after the whole family. Losing a pet is a miserable experience. What a relief to know someone like Joe is out there to help with one of the most difficult parts of the grieving process.

  Last year at this very same time I had to put my old barnyard cat down. I contacted Chicagoland Pet Cremation because they were so close. I got very lucky!! Not only were they so close, Joe, is one of the most compassionate and genuine human beings I have ever encountered.
  
  The very first day of 2016 a sick kitten I was trying to nurse into a healthy state, unexpectedly died in my arms. I was devastated. I knew the kitten was in trouble and was trying to reach the vet only to get a voice mail message instructing me to call elsewhere if it was an emergency. The kitten died while I was trying to find something to write with.
  
  I understand that New Years Day is a holiday but emergencies happen and when they do you need help immediately. After I knew the kitten was gone, I didn't want to just leave her in the garage until normal business hours resumed. I called Chicagoland Pet Cremation and Joe answered on the fourth ring. It was wonderful to hear a live voice on the other end. I was expecting another voice mail. It was 1:30 pm and Joe told me he would meet me at 4:00pm. He took the time to ask me how I was doing and to console me as best he could. I had her tiny body wrapped in her blanket and Joe told me it was okay to have her cremated with the blanket wrapped around her.
  
  Our pets die and many pet owners want to keep the essence of their beloved pet with them. Chicagoland Pet Cremation is there for you and your pet 24/7. Joe will treat your departed pet with love, compassion and dignity.

  Joe is legit, very understanding guy. He took care of my pet Pepper, i slept well knowing she was in good hands. wouldn't trust anybody else in this matter. Quit wondering give him a call asap, and he'll help you get past this hurdle.
